The Phoenix Kitchen and Cocktails Rises in Homer Glen
The team that brought you Lockport’s The Public Landing has opened their newest establishment in Homer Glen. And, it’s not just a new establishment, it’s an experience.
This modern, upscale restaurant focuses on shared plates and creative cocktails. It gives you the chance to try several different cooking techniques, styles, and flavors.
In the toolbox of The Phoenix’s Chef Potter is a wood-fired grill, 600 degree pizza over, hardwood smoker, and hydroponic organic micro-greenhouse. Shared plates like “Slow Burn” Bay Scallops, a veggie charcuterie, house baked breads, and Sous Vide Beets are a great way to start off. Baby Gem and Caesar Salads are can’t miss. Four Cheese, Dough Bird, and Greenhouse Flatbreads are extremely tasty. And entrees like Hand Cut Ribeye, Faroe Island Salmon, and Ancho Pork Tenderloins will keep this meat-eater returning again and again.
I can’t do the menu justice, so make sure to view it at https://www.thephoenixkitchen.com/menu.
And when that date night, anniversary, or other special comes up – book the two-person table inside The Phoenix’s Wine Cellar. Surrounded by wine bottles to the ceiling and a wall constructed of the artwork from wine boxes, it is definitely an experience that you won’t want to miss. A $200 room minimum applies to this experience, plus tax and gratuity.
The Phoenix Kitchen and Cocktails has risen in Homer Glen, and you can’t miss it. They are open at 4pm every Tuesday - Sunday. Find out more by visiting them online at https://www.thephoenixkitchen.com/ or on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/phoenixkitchen159/.
