St. Patrick’s Events 2023 in Lemont and Homer Glen
It’s the time of year where everyone feels a little bit Irish. And, here in Lemont and Homer Glen, there are several St. Patrick’s events going on throughout the month of March.
Lemont Downtown (Parade) and VFW Post 5819 (Post-Parade)
31st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Saturday, March 4, 2023
1pm
The parade steps off in Lemont Downtown on Saturday, March 4 at 1pm. The parade begins on Stephen Street, near the I&M Canal with the Stock Yard Kilty Band before heading down Main Street towards VFW Post 5819.
The celebration continues at the VFW, with performances by Irish dancers, bands, and the skrill of the pipes. Lemont’s St. Patrick’s Day Queen will arrive in a horse-drawn carraige. There will be plenty of candy for the kids and Irish cheer for all to hear! Sláinte!
