Mark Your Calendar for Giving Tuesday, or Start a Little Early (Like Now)
GivingTuesday is always the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and falls this year November 30. It's a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.
This year, GivingTuesday is starting a little early for Pathlights, For more than 45 years, Pathlights has been helping guide adults 60 years of age and over, adults with disabilities, their caregivers, families, and friends along their best path to aging - providing resources, advocacy, programs, and services needed to live with independence and dignity in the community.
Today (November 22) is the start of the GivingTuesday Matching grant and you can help them make a big difference in the lives of older adults living in the Southwestern Suburbs of Cook County. Between November 22nd and December 3rd, your gift will be matched, dollar for dollar, through a generous grant from the RRF Foundation for Aging -- up to $5,000 in total.
